"Nothing succeeds like success." We have the same goal, and I like the idea of a deep social safety net, but this is not a clear proposal. See my article for how we would actually pay for this. And if you don't like my idea, make people work for the money I propose to give them. But don't propose that the solution is the solution. We can't just print money and give it to the needy. We must say exactly where the money would come from.
